As part of the founding of Brevard Heart Foundation, the board of directors established goals to gain a wide base of community support within Brevard County. And as the years passed, the goals regarding the need for quality care for Brevard County citizens were strengthened.
Dedicated Leaders
Collectively, the officers and directors who have served the Foundation have provided over 500 years of dedicated service without compensation.
Dr. Jack T. Bechtel, MD, served as President for over 30 years. Upon his retirement from medical practice on September 30, 1997, he was named President, Emeritus. Robert H. Rosequist has also been named President Emeritus for his years of service.”
The Brevard Heart Foundation holds regular quarterly business meetings with one annual meeting. There are no paid employees. All funds raised are used to improve the health care in our county.
The officers and directors of the Brevard Heart Foundation are encouraging larger individual bequests, or scheduled small “seed” contributions so the Foundation can continue to expand its services to the community. With the growing needs of the medical community in Brevard County, the Foundation needs the community’s support more than ever. We invite you to become a member of our donor list.
